Vietnamese Heritage Museum received the Republic of Vietnam’s Flag from Mr. Nick Ut, the AP’s photographer (November 23, 2019). This flag was formerly hung at the Republic of Vietnam’s embassy in Tokyo . A college student, Mr. Dung Nguyen, who saved this flag at the end of April 1975 and then gave it to Mr. Nick Ut, who had preserved this flag since then. Mr. Dung Nguyen died in the 80’s, in his efforts to free Vietnam.
