The Vietnamese Heritage Museum, in partnership with the USS Midway Museum, proudly presents “Legacy of Hope: From Operation Frequent Wind to Vietnamese Refugees Resilience,” taking place on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at the historic USS Midway Museum in San Diego, California.

This year marks the 50th Commemoration of the Fall of the Republic of Vietnam and the 50th Anniversary of Operation Frequent Wind, a pivotal moment in history that led to the rescue of thousands of Vietnamese refugees during the fall of Saigon in 1975. It is a story of courage, resilience, and hope—one that continues to shape our shared history and inspire future generations. Through this event, we aim to honor the sacrifices of those who fled, the generosity of those who welcomed them, and the remarkable contributions of Vietnamese refugees to communities across the United States and the world. Join us to help preserve these important legacies, inspire future generations, and make a lasting impact on our vibrant and cherished community.
